Rachel has received versatile dance training since the age of 3. She has studied Jazz (in its many variations), Hiphop, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. She has practiced mainly in Vancouver, and has also traveled to Las Vegas, and Los Angeles for a more vast education. Rachel has been studying yoga and meditation for the past three years, and incorporates these practices into her classes. Along with her dance training, Rachel is also studying art at Simon Fraser University. Rachel hopes to empower and encourage her students to be their best selves, in and outside of the classroom.
Rachel has recently trained with Harbor Dance Centers Intensive Training Program directed by Moe Brody, and the Illustrative Mentorship program directed by Joe Tuliao. She has performed at the PNE in featured shows, toured with the Great Big Boo, and was a featured dancer at the Vancouver We Day event. Although Rachel loves to perform, choreography is also a passion of hers. Rachel has recently choreographed for Lululemons “Worth 100” event, and for promotional videos for In Bed With Betty, and Violet & Olive swimwear. Rachel looks forward to growing with her students, and sharing the love of dance.
